Four people are in custody today after an overnight drug deal went bad in Oak Harbor near Slidell.
The individuals in custody are:
Jimmy Coyne (DOB: 1/17/91 – 300 Stonehill Rd, Folsom)
Kelsey Schoenbeger (DOB: 12/19/95 – 28484 Wildwood St, Lacombe)
Donice Garrett (DOB: 1/7/91 – 84158 Hwy 25, Folsom)
Jonathan Vines (DOB: 11/18/90 – 3350 Blanco St, Slidell)
The Sheriff’s office received a 911 call at approximately 12:30 am this morning reporting gun shots outside a residence on Cape Breton Drive.
Detectives have determined that the individuals named above, along with others, were at the house during an attempted drug deal. During the exchange, shots were fired and one man was struck by gunfire.
That man, whose name is not currently being released, was transported to a south shore hospital where he underwent surgery this morning for injuries sustained to his abdomen and buttocks. He is out of the intensive care unit and is expected to be released in a day or two.
This investigation is ongoing and other arrests are expected to be forthcoming. Bond information and booking photos will be distributed as they become available. Additional details about the incident will be released as the investigation progresses.

Garrett:
