Members of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Division recently seized crack-cocaine and methamphetamine during several investigations which took place across the parish.
Members of the STPSO Narcotics Division flooded areas and conducted traffic stops throughout the parish Tuesday (April 23) in areas known to be frequented by drug dealers.
During their patrols in Lacombe, detectives stopped 31-year-old Slidell resident Darryl Stokes in the 20000 block of W Spruce Street off of N Pontchartrain Drive. A search of the truck driven by Stokes led to the discovery and seizure of 2.5 grams of marijuana, more than 66 grams (2.35 ounces) of crack cocaine, and $3,902 in cash.
It was later learned Stokes is on parole in Louisiana until 2031 for a conviction regarding possession of hydrocodone, possession of marijuana, resisting an officer with force or violence, possession of oxycodone, possession of alprazolam, possession of zolpidem, possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine over 28 grams.
As a result of these discoveries, Stokes was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

During their patrols in Slidell, detectives stopped 45-year-old Lacombe resident Charles Stiglet in the 500 block of Sunset Drive. A search of the SUV driven by Stiglet led to the discovery and seizure of 4.5 grams of methamphetamine, 1 gram of crack-cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
As a result of these discoveries, Stiglet was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

Detectives also assisted the 1st District Criminal Patrol Division with a call for service in the 37000 block of Buck Provost Road in Pearl River. Their investigation led to detectives obtaining a search warrant for the residence of 63-year-old Pearl River resident Rodney Allen Ridenour. Detectives seized more than 18 grams of methamphetamine resulting in the arrest of Ridenour. It was later learned Ridenour is on parole in Louisiana until 2029 for a conviction regarding possession with the intent to distribute a schedule II CDS, two counts of possession of a schedule II CDS, possession of a schedule III CDS and transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses.
Ridenour was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center for the following charges:

“The detectives with our Narcotics Division work hard every day to identify and arrest individuals who are bringing dangerous drugs into our neighborhoods,” Sheriff Randy Smith said.
