To send mail to an inmate, please include the name of the inmate, the dorm number and the cell or bed number and mail to:

If you do not know the inmate's dorm, cell and/or bed number, please call the jail at (985) 276-1000 to retrieve this information.

The St. Tammany Parish Jail does not accept greeting cards, pictures, newspapers, books, and magazines except directly from retail greeting card providers, picture processing outlets, or commercial publishers.  Postcards are never accepted.  Both incoming and outgoing offender mail may be opened and inspected for contraband.  Additionally, items found to be sexually explicit or deemed to contain unauthorized material or substances will be rejected or seized for investigation purposes.

Families of inmates may mail a money order to a pre-arranged inmate account. The money order must include the inmate’s name, dorm number, bed or cell number and should be mailed to:
