Illegal drugs and firearms were located at a home near Pearl River this week.

As part of an ongoing investigation, detectives with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Division executed a search warrant Tuesday (October 17) at a residence in the 65000 block of Smith Road near Pearl River.

The search resulted in the discovery of six illegal firearms, 85 dosage units of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), 0.08 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, THC smoking devices, THC edibles, a psilocybin edible chocolate bar, THC wax, an assortment of drug paraphernalia commonly associated with drug distribution and $1,690 believed to be the proceeds from illegal narcotics transactions.

Daniel Aucoin (DOB 9/20/1975), who was living at the residence, was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center for the following charges:
