Female Arrested After Attempting to Smuggle Drugs to Male Inmate in STPSO Jail

An approximate month-long investigation by St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Jail Investigators has resulted in the arrest of two people. Kayla Ann Leary (W/F 05/28/1988), was arrested for attempting to smuggle drugs into the parish jail through the facility’s mailroom. St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies apprehended two Slidell area men today at local car dealerships near Howze Beach road in Slidell.
