The St Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting which occurred Tuesday (December 5) night in the Alton community.
Shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday, STPSO deputies were dispatched to the 62000 block of N. 15th Street in Alton in reference to an individual who had been shot.
Responding deputies located an unresponsive male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported by emergency medical personnel to an area hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
