Senior Citizen Dinner Cancelled Due to Covid

Sheriff Randy Smith is saddened to announce the cancellation of this year’s Deputy Sheriff’s Association Senior Citizen Dinner, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A former St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputy is facing a misdemeanor battery charge following an investigation into an incident that occurred at the St. Tammany Parish Jail earlier this week. SWAT Team on Scene in River Gardens

Deputies from the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office will conduct a DWI checkpoint this weekend at an undisclosed location in St. Tammany Parish. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash, which resulted in a fatality Friday night.
