Arrest Made After Narcotics Located During Traffic Stop

A Nevada resident was arrested Tuesday after illegal narcotics were located hidden inside his vehicle during a traffic stop near Covington. Shortly before 10 p.m. Friday night, deputies with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a fatal vehicle crash in the 74000 block of Downs Avenue near Abita Springs. Operator of Animal Rescue Arrested on Animal Cruelty Charges

The operator of a Pearl River-area dog rescue was arrested Monday (November 9) on animal cruelty charges. More charges have been added for the owner of a Mandeville-are interior design company.
