Jack O’ Lantern Jamboree raises money, food for Food Bank and Samaritan Center

The Jack O' Lantern Jamboree held Monday, October 31, at the Justice Center and the Sheriff's Office facility in Slidell, was an amazing success, providing both food and monetary support for the Covington Food Bank and the Samaritan Center. Trio Arrested in Mini-Storage Burglaries - Investigation Continues

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a trio of men responsible for a rash of mini-storage burglaries which occurred earlier this year. Slidell Man Claims God Told Him to Steal GPS from Ambulance

A Slidell area man told deputies he was “Following God’s message” when he took a GPS out of an ambulance.  Deputies were called to a Lacombe nursing home over the weekend in reference to a man trespassing at the facility.
