DWI Checkpoint Planned for Labor Day Weekend

Two Men Arrested After Meth, Handgun Found During Traffic Stop

Two Alabama men were arrested after more than eight pounds of methamphetamine was found in their vehicle during a Slidell-area traffic stop. An Abita Springs man is in custody following a nine-hour standoff that occurred Monday (Sept. 12) night in an Abita Springs neighborhood.
