Property Tax Sale Statistics Released
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Randy Smith today released the statistics from the 2018 property tax sale, which was held Monday, July 29, 2019 at the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center. A total of 967 properties were scheduled for the sale due to unpaid property taxes. During the sale, which was held in the misdemeanor courtroom, 728 properties were successfully auctioned. Suit Filed by Former STPSO Employee Dismissed
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff Randy Smith have been vindicated in a lawsuit filed by a former employee. Covington-area Man Arrested After Stabbing Father
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Covington-area man Wednesday night (Aug. 7) after he stabbed his father in the chest. Alabama Escapee Located at Mandeville-area Residence
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies located an escaped inmate from Alabama at a home near Mandeville.
