Sheriff Smith Releases Mid-term Report

Sheriff Randy Smith has released his Mid-term Report highlighting information related to the activities, operations and accomplishments of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office since he took office in July 2016. This informative document includes information regarding the Crisis Intervention Team, School Resource Officer program, expanded online services for the public, training, stats, community related activities and more. Lacombe Man Arrested After Firing Upon Another Motorist

St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s detectives located an arsenal of weapons inside a Lacombe-area home while investigating a suspicious motorist Tuesday (Feb. 5). STPSO Investigating Armed Robbery at Slidell-area Gas Station

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for two men who robbed a Slidell-area gas station early Wednesday morning (Feb. 13). Shortly before 5:30 a.m., two black males entered a gas station on Voters Road in the Slidell area. Both men were wearing clothing that partially blocked their faces. A late night traffic stop near Madisonville resulted in the arrest of an Albany man and the recovery of a stolen pickup truck. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident that occurred Monday evening (Feb. 25) involving reported gunfire in the Abita Nursery Subdivision. Alabama Man Arrested on His Way to Court in Stolen Car

A man recently released from jail and expected to appear in court Wednesday (Feb. 27) was rearrested this morning after he was spotted driving a stolen vehicle. Wednesday (Feb. 27) at approximately 8:30 a.m., deputies observed a stolen Honda Accord headed west on Interstate 12, and a pursuit ensued.
