Causeway Police Officer Arrested for Theft and Malfeasance

An investigation requested by Causeway Police Chief Nick Congemi into missing evidence has resulted in an arrest of a Causeway Police officer. Causeway Police Sergeant William Jones Jr. was arrested this afternoon, by members of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Public Corruption Unit, for one count of felony theft and malfeasance. Three teens arrested in vehicle burglaries; Stolen State Police equipment recovered

Warrants have been obtained for the arrests of three Tangipahoa teenagers wanted for breaking into multiple vehicles in the Madisonville area over the weekend. Among the vehicles burglarized was a locked, unmarked State Police Unit, which was parked in front of a trooper’s residence. Mississippi trio responsible for burglarizing coin-operated devices at gas stations

Two suspects are behind bars and warrants have been issued for a third, after St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s detectives solve a series of burglary cases that spanned three states.
