On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office will be participating in National Night Out Against Crime.

If your neighborhood wishes to participate this year, and wants a deputy to attend, please register your event by Thursday, October 1st. Click here to register your event.

National Night Out is a nation-wide crime prevention event. The night is designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, increase neighborhood support in anti-crime efforts, and unite our communities. It is a great chance to learn about crime prevention, while also celebrating your community and spending time with your neighbors and local law enforcement.

Representatives from all of the various divisions within the STPSO will be participating in this year’s National Night Out Against Crime.

Because of Covid-19 concerns, we request that neighborhoods consider hosting several smaller parties as opposed to having one large party to keep the numbers low at each party. We also ask for all attendees to wear masks and practice social distancing measures when possible.

While we want as many people to have the opportunity to attend/host a party, we ask that anyone exhibiting any potential Covid-19 symptoms or anyone who has been exposed to someone who has Covid-19 in the last 14 days, please refrain from attending any events.
