Detectives with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office located and arrested two wanted fugitives at their workplace in Pearl River after another agency contacted them and requested their help.

On Wednesday (Dec. 21) STPSO detectives were contacted by investigators with the St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s Office regarding a request to attempt to locate Sidney Banks Jr (DOB 2/06/1997). Banks was wanted on an active St. Helena arrest warrant for one count of L.R.S. 14:26/14:30 Criminal Conspiracy to Second Degree Murder and one count of L.R.S. 14:26/14:27/14:30 Criminal Conspiracy for Attempted Second Degree Murder. Banks was also wanted by the Hammond Police Department for L.R.S. 14:35 Simple Battery and L.R.S. 14:62.3 Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling.

STPSO detectives located Banks at his place of employment in Pearl River and he was taken into custody. During his arrest, Banks was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics.

While conducting their investigation at Bank’s place of employment, STPSO detectives also came into contact with another employee identified as Toi Williams (DOB 7/20/1993). Williams was found to be a fugitive from the Hammond Police Department, where he was wanted for one count of L.R.S. 14:34 Second Degree Battery, one count of L.R.S. 14:35 Simple Battery, and one count of L.R.S. 14:56 Criminal Damage to Property.

A handgun, which was reported as stolen from Tangipahoa Parish, was located inside Williams’ vehicle.

Sidney Banks was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center as a fugitive from St. Helena Parish and for various narcotic’s charges.

Toi Williams was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center as a fugitive from Hammond and for possession of the stolen firearm.
