The victim from the shooting incident, which occurred Tuesday (March 22) evening near Folsom, has died, and his son has been arrested for murder.
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 80000 block of Dreamland Court near Folsom at approximately 6:45 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a domestic-related disturbance.
One victim, a 43-year-old white male, was transported to a local area hospital with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
His son, Clifford Lawshe Jr. (D.O.B. 7/31/95) of Folsom, was arrested without incident and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center for Second-degree Murder.
STPSO detectives have learned Lawshe and his father got into an argument at the Dreamland Court residence. At some point during that argument, Lawshe retrieved a pistol and shot his father.
