St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies uncovered a prostitution operation while investigating a reported home invasion that occurred earlier this month in the Slidell area.

On April 17, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on Cherry Street in Slidell in reference to a reported home invasion and attempted kidnapping.

Upon arriving at the location, deputies found three Hispanic males in a vehicle outside the residence.  

The victim told deputies one of the men, Enrique Pacheco-Ayuso (DOB 7/7/1991), had entered the residence armed with a firearm and tried to force her into a vehicle. 

A firearm and a small amount of cocaine were located inside the vehicle.

Following the incident, Pacheco-Ayuso was arrested on the following charges and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail:

L.R.S. 40:966C Possession of Schedule I (Marijuana)

The two other occupants of the vehicle, Juan Zavala (DOB 3/11/1995) and Josadac Gomez-Bonilla (DOB 12/1/1999), were arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.  Zavala was booked  on the following charges:

L.R.S. 40:967C Possession of Schedule II CDS (Cocaine) 

 

Gomez-Bonilla was booked on the following charges:

L.RS 14:95E Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of a CDS
L.R.S. 40:967C Possession of Schedule II CDS (Cocaine)
L.R.S. 40:966C Possession of Schedule I (Marijuana)

A follow-up investigation into the incident uncovered a prostitution operation involving the victim, Tammy Faye (DOB 8/25/1973) and Pacheco-Ayuso. 

On April 22, Faye and Pacheco-Ayuso were booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail on the following charges:

L.R.S. 14:46.2 Human Trafficking
L.R.S. 14:84 Pandering

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is working in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security on this ongoing investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
