St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested four individuals early Tuesday (October 12) morning after they crashed near Slidell following a pursuit that crossed over into St. Tammany from Mississippi.

At approximately 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office was called to assist deputies from Hancock County Mississippi, after a vehicle they were pursuing in reference to several burglaries, crossed the state line into St. Tammany Parish. 

Deputies responded to the area and located the suspect vehicle, which had already crashed into the wood line behind the Fremaux Town Center. Upon deputies’ arrival the four occupants of the vehicle fled on foot. 

STPSO deputies, along with STPSO K-9 deputies, Hancock County deputies, and troopers with Louisiana State Police, established a perimeter and apprehend the four suspects, who were identified as Justin Wilder (DOB 6-30-2000), Keyon Randolph (DOB 12/17/1998), Derrick Holmes (DOB 10-18-2001) and a 17-year-old juvenile.

The juvenile and Holmes were found to be in possession of stolen firearms when they were taken into custody.   

Pass Christian Police Officer, who is handling the investigation in reference to the burglaries, advised that warrants are pending for all subjects in reference to those crimes. While on the scene in Slidell, Pass Christian Police Officers confirmed one of the firearms found in possession of the subjects was stolen earlier Monday night in their jurisdiction.

It was also confirmed the vehicle the four were driving had been reported stolen in Tangipahoa Parish. 

While searching the vehicle, deputies located a clear plastic bag containing suspected 10 grams of marijuana and items commonly known as drug paraphernalia. 

Justin Wilder was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

Keyon Randolph was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

L.R.S. 14:108 Resisting an Officer
L.R.S. 14:00 Fugitive (Pass Christian MS and Kenner Police)
L.R.S. 40:966(C) Simple Possession of Marijuana
L.R.S. 40:1023 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 

Derrick Holmes was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:
