An employee with the New Orleans FBI Field Office was arrested Sunday (August 22) after St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies were called to her Slidell-area residence.
Shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday night, STPSO deputies were dispatched to a residence in Clipper Estates after a resident at the home called 911.
Upon arrival, deputies learned Amberly Boyle (DOB 10/18/1977), an agent with the FBI New Orleans Office, had got into an altercation with her wife.
An investigation into the incident led to the arrest of Boyle. She was taken into custody and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail for misdemeanor domestic abuse battery.
Authorities with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office are working closely with the Federal Bureau of Investigations on this ongoing investigation, and no additional information will be provided at this time.
