The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force arrested a Slidell woman Friday, and in the process removed a significant amount of narcotics off the streets of St. Tammany.
Brelle Lewis (DOB 11/17/1998; 648 Kostmayer Ave., Slidell) was arrested for two counts of LRS 40:969 A/C Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule IV CDS, LRS 40.967 A/C Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS and LRS 14:91.13 Possession of CDS in the Presence of Juveniles. She was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
On Friday, December 15, Task Force agents executed a search warrant at Lewis’ home as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. They located 4,999 dosage units of Tramadol (a pain reliever) and 1,500 units of Carisoprodol (Soma - a muscle relaxer).
Also living at the Slidell-area residence were Lewis’ mother, stepfather and four siblings, ages 6, 8, 10 and 13.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force includes members form the Sheriff’s Office as well as the Slidell, Mandeville and Covington Police Departments. The Task Force was assisted by officers from U.S. Customs and Border Protection as well as Homeland Security during this investigation.
