A Slidell area man was arrested Friday (November 9) after he shot his adult son in the hand outside of the residence where they both lived.
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Queen Anne Drive in the Slidell-area shortly before 4 p.m.
William Hubbard III (DOB 4/7/1961) and his son had been arguing outside of their Slidell-area home when the argument turned physical. Hubbard then went inside the residence and returned with a shotgun. Hubbard fired the shotgun, striking the victim in the hand.
The victim was transported to a southshore area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Hubbard was arrested and booked in to the St. Tammany Parish Jail on the following charge:
