The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in the Nov. 3 shooting that occurred at a Lacombe-area residence.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 3, STPSO deputies responded to a report of a shooting at 27611 Mirmar Street in Lacombe.

Responding deputies located Jarred Kirsh (DOB 11/9/1992; 824 Magnolia Street, Slidell) laying immediately inside the front doorway of the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Deputies also located four other individuals inside the residence who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries after Kirsh and Herman Williams (DOB 11/19/1989: 61667 Spruce Street, Pearl River) forced their way into the home and gunfire was exchanged. Detectives said the incident was likely drug related and the home was not chosen at random.

Williams was not immediately identified as he had fled the scene before deputies arrived.

On Nov. 4, a warrant for his arrest was issued, and with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, Williams was located in New Orleans on Nov. 14 and taken into custody. He was transported to the St. Tammany Parish Jail and booked on one count of LRS 14:60A(1) Aggravated Burglary With a Dangerous Weapon and four counts of LRS 14:27.30.1 Attempted Second Degree Murder.

This investigation is still ongoing and no more details will be released at this time.
