St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s detectives have arrested a Slidell man in a shooting that occurred Sunday (January 21).
The victim, a 54-year-old man, was located at a local area hospital, after a neighbor called to report the shooting.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Michael Sirelle Bickham (DOB 3/13/1975; 2015 Gause Blvd., Slidell) exited a residence in the 1400 block of Beech Street, armed with a pistol after hearing his girlfriend arguing with her children’s father outside the home.

Bickham drove his friend to the hospital and then fled.
He was arrested shortly after 8 p.m. after he returned to the hospital to check on his friend’s condition.
