The 22nd annual Seniors’ Christmas Luncheon, sponsored by the St. Tammany Parish Deputies’ Association, will be held Monday, December 13th from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The doors will open at 8:00 a.m. for early arrivers.
Nearly 1,000 seniors are expected to attend the lunch, which will take place at the Castine Center in Mandeville.
Hundreds of deputies play a part each year in coordinating and carrying out the event. Arrangements have been underway since September in preparation for this year’s event. As always, Deputies will be preparing and serving the dinners and other refreshments during the event.
C.O.A.S.T. will be providing transportation for those who cannot or do not wish to drive to the Castine Center. A list of pickup and drop off locations will be posted here soon.
Food, entertainment, dancing and other surprises await those who join us in the festivities. You do not need a reservation to attend.
Many thanks to Recreation District #1 / Pelican Park and the Castine Center for providing this facility at no cost for this year’s event.
