Covington Man Arrested for Indecent Behavior with Juvenile

Friday, September 2nd, 2011

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 19 year old Covington area man and booked him with indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Justin Froust (20053-A W. Galloway Rd, Covington – DOB: 5/4/92) was arrested yesterday, after investigators learned of several inappropriate, sexually explicit communications between Froust and a 15 year old juvenile.  The communications occurred via social networking sites.

The investigation involved deputies from St. Tammany and Tangipahoa parishes.  Froust had similar contact with an additional juvenile victim in Tangipahoa parish.

The St. Tammany juvenile indicated the contact with Froust began after the two met at a youth Fire Camp in Bush, Louisiana.  Froust was a volunteer fireman working at the camp.

During the course of the investigation, Froust admitted to having the conversations with the juveniles.

Froust has been booked with one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile and as a fugitive from Tangipahoa Parish.  He is being held in the St. Tammany Parish Jail on $25,000 bond.  A hold has been placed on him for Tangipahoa parish.
